BEGINNER level Flamenco dance classes with Anna and Tito Rubio!                                                      Six week program Tuesday evenings 6:30-8:00 beginning April  12th
at the Center for Creativity at Junk, Shiloh Baptist Church 2040 Christian St, Phila. 19146

Our unique method of teaching includes not only technique, but also context and culture. We spend equal amounts of time on palmas (handclapping), compas (rhythm), and understanding the history and intent of the various Flamenco palos (styles or forms) as we do on physical techniques of the dance. This makes our class appropriate for dancers from other forms who want to expand their vocabularies and for movers who have never danced before.                                                                                                                       EVERYONE                                                                                                                                              is welcome to learn in the non-competitive welcoming environment of our classes.                                                                                                                                                                                                   ALL CLASSES ACCOMPANIED BY TITO RUBIO-                                                          internationally recognized, Spanish-born, Pew Fellow, authentic Flamenco guitar Master.
